Altman Siegel Gallery is pleased to announce THEY KNEW WHAT THEY WANTED, a collaborative exhibition between four galleries, John Berggruen Gallery, Fraenkel Gallery, Ratio 3 and Altman Siegel. For this special exhibition, each gallery has selected an artist from their program to curate a show using the programs of the participating galleries as inspiration. The show at Altman Siegel is curated by Los Angeles based artist Shannon Ebner. The other curators are Robert Bechtle for John Berggruen, Katy Grannan for Fraenkel Gallery, and Jordan Kantor for Ratio 3. This exhibition exemplifies the views of each of the four artists/curators as illustrated by the unique vision expressed in each iteration of the exhibition, and will create one unified city-wide event for the summer.
